Need help, I know nothing about ducklings

I believe Flock Raiser feed has enough niacin for them.
I’ve never used medicated feed.
Never had a problem.
I also don’t see a problem with a heating pad.
Are you using it as a MHP?
As long as there’s room for the duckling to go out of the heating pad “cave” it should be fine.
Being alone shouldn’t be an issue as long as you can get another duckling within a day or two.

Ducks get along with chicks I rescued a 2 week duckling and my chicken showed it the way of the chicken you should keep it wawarm and with slot of water they drink twice as much as chicks they also eat more so the important thing is keeping it warm and u can give it chick starter food I give mine chick food since I got him it's for growing and fattening so once you see it's growing feathers you can put up a pool I recommend you hatch two more eggs because it's good too keep ducks with ducks because I have a friend who had a duck raised with only chickens and he would try and mate with chickens so yea definetly don't want that I wish you luck with your DDucky and I hope this was helpfull

@hillbilly91 1. The way that ducks drink their water, sometimes they backwash to clean their nostrils.
2. they can’t have medicated starter crumble.
@chickens really
I have a heating pad covered with an old pillow case. And I’m looking for another duckling, I just might not be able to get one until tomorrow. It hatched pretty late yesterday and most of the places where I can go to get them either aren’t open on Sunday or close by noon. I ended up sleeping late today because I was scrambling to make a brooder and a place for it last night.
I've never feed the medicated feed always starter grower. And yes they need the water to wash down there feed but you always need two or three waterers in a Broder so they don't over crowd

It moves on and off the heating pad fine. The heating pad doesn’t take up much room in the brooder. Most of the time he wedges into the corner where the heating pad is folded. View attachment 1560370
I use wet feed too and not chickens feeders. I use small container to make a soupy mix and another for dry feed. These are great for water.

My mother-in- law raised her chicks and ducklings together. It took a little extra care because the ducklings are so messy. Then she had a hard time teaching the ducks that they were not chickens. They are all full grown now and doing great.
