I have six 11.5 week old mixes that I hatched with a broody hen in May.
I got the eggs from a local farmer, her hens were: Lavender oprtingtons, welssumers, americaunas,
Silver and gold laces wyandottes, cochins, marans, etc.
And two roosters: Jersey Giant and Jubilee orpington

Any help on possible breeds and which ones may be roosters would be appreciated!

I have 2 different speckled ones, and two of the plain black ones. I attached a couple different pictures of the black ones. The bottom 2 pictures of the speckled bird are the same bird. The bird on the garbage can and the pallet are the same bird.

They are all mixed. The ones with beards have easter egger or Americauna blood, the black ones likely have the Jersey Giant as a father. Couldn't say who the father of the barred ones are but the mother is likely barred, so probably a barred rock.

As far as sexing goes, the big black ones, as said above, are pullets and so is the black one with the beard. The first barred one looks like a pullet, the second barred one like a cockerel. The one on the garbage can is definitely a cockerel, and the red bearded bird in the first picture could go either way at this stage. Better photos could help or maybe just wait a couple of weeks and try again.

Thank you, I was kind of thinking the same about the black ones and the cockerel on the trash can. I'll post better pictures in a couple weeks. They are pretty skittish around people so they are hard to get good pictures of.

IF those are the only possible roosters then the barred ones HAD to have a barred or a pattern with barring mother.
That would make them sex linked. They would have to be cockerels.
