Trying to identify two chicks from a "blind" selection. We are pretty certain they are both female. The first little lady has a cream head, white chest, and black body. She is probably 4-5 weeks old. The second is the same age, but is cream and brown. Any suggestions? Thanks!

That would be great! The chicks came from a farm and my nieces and nephews picked them out. They were used for photos and school study project and were supposed to go back to the farm but we were searching for 4 new chicks for our flock and this worked out well. They have about two more weeks in their transitional home before we move them to a divided coop & run with the other girls.

Were they the result of a "mixed flock" at this farm, or did the farm maintain separate breeding pens for each breed that they maintained?

Turns out they were all ordered from Murray McMurray Hatchery, which is where all of our chicks have come from in the past. . .
