Ok so I purchased 6 pullets they said they were Ameraucana & Australorp chicks. I don't believe that my 2 white Big Girls and either. As you can tell in the pictures that the white ones are considerably bigger than the others at 4-5 weeks. The Black Australorps (?) and the brown Ameraucanas (?) often perch up top, the big girls cant even get up there, they are to big. Every once in a while I feel bad for them and put them up on the 2X4 I have across the brooder. They stay for a minute then jump down and its a hefty jump, they are solid birds. Can anyone tell from my pics if I have any roos? Sorry for all the questions, I had chicken when I was about 10 year old. Now I'm a little older ;) and starting a flock. Any info or books you can recommend would be helpful. Thank you in advance. Sharon

I believe your white chickens are most likely Cornish Rock, which are a meat bird. I have some too, but they’re a little older (9 weeks, I think).

The non white ones definitely look like Ameracaunas to me. The white ones look like leghorns.

The white ones definitely look like Cornish crosses. I’ve studied them for quite some time, and their structure is unique.
