Need help identifying my "Assorted Bantams"

If it lays blue eggs it's an Easter Egger. If it's an Ameraucana that is off the American Poultry Assoc. (APA) Standard Of Perfection (SOP) then it is not considered to be an Ameraucana but an Easter Egger.

Maybe you could go back to the store you bought those chicks from and ask them to look up the shipping manifest from that order of chicks you got yours from. It should show hatchery name and the breeds they shipped. That would really help you narrow down what you have. Of course that's hoping the store will want to do that. lol.

TSC staff is known for not being very helpful in knowing the source and breed of the chicks. They don't do the ordering in store, it's all done at the main offices, and the main offices don't usually tell the shops what they are getting.

TSC frequently gets chicks from Mt. Healthy, so I've heard and read. This is the only page on Mt. Healthy's site regarding bantams: http://www.mthealthy.com/store/948458/product/ASSB-sr

This is all information I've read on BYC, not from personal experience.

My TSC gets theirs from Mt. Healthy and it has been a pain trying to figure out what I have. I got them on March 8th and figured I'd wait a month before posting pics for help with them. I wanted to give them a chance to develop enough for folks to be able to give good guesses on them.

I checked out the link. They have no list that I could find stating which breeds they include in their assorted pullet mix. Frustrating! Maybe a rep from the Hatchery would now. I'm wondering if they have a standard mix with only certain breeds or whether they just put all their leftover bantams into that selection..lol. They should probably do a Forrest Gump Box of Chocolates Selection choice. Assorted chicks are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. If they included a little guide with all the chicks included in the assortment that would help..kind of like that chocolates guide you get in a box of Whitmanns assorted chocolates.

They may know but they ain't sharing! I've emailed Mt. Healthy and never got a response. You'd think that for good customer service they could at least have a form letter they could send in response. Instead I've gotten silence!

I guess I should re-mention that the fuzzy-cheek white chick is not a bantam. The first four I posted are, but the fuzzy-cheek one was in the "White Leghorn Pullet" bin. I went back today and noticed another one or two with fuzzy cheeks, too, but maybe not. We aren't allowed past the cattle fence that houses the chicks, and we aren't allowed to hold them either.

Makes it reeaaaaaaallly hard to pick the ones you want when you're trying to tell an employee to catch one chick in a bin full of a hundred.
