He's very handsome, but breed? Don't know. Is he supposed tp be a purebred, or a backyard mix of some sort? Where from, and history?

they definitely are. the color is super shiny like show quality RIR but a different color

Where is he from? Looks more like a game mix to me. He could be a poor quality Dark Cornish, but his body type is off. Looks more lanky
