You have North Korean people there? You ever seen a country person pass up a chance for an easy dinner? Nope, you haven't. It'd still get shot down.

How'd you guess? I did indeed roll off my bed of frozen rags onto the cold hard floor!
It is so obvious how you use a dead Raccoon you make from it a canned possum gravy !Fresh Swamp Rat! I'll dust off my Shrek cook book. Hold the fleas. And the worms please!
It's at least a week in the USPS, so the heating pad should reach 250°F for a fully cooked rat by the time it gets here. Better add a bottle of wine so it won't be too dry. Please shove rosemary and basil up its scat hole. And while you are shoving...
Hey, what are you gonna do with that raccoon? Send it too. Maybe in a nice chianti? With fava beans?![]()
Oh hail noWe have some pretty impressive rats though, this one was a lightweight at 200ish grams or close to a 1/2 pounder. Obviously a female as it didn't have a huge ball sack. View attachment 1279629
So just to add to the confusion. And all joking aside: My experience is that the more 'cautious' types pinch off the turds; this includes most felines. They're too nervous to just let it come out, so it comes out in little bunched up balls or more like a tootsie roll with grooves. Whereas the calmer types, opposums, dogs, etc. have longer more rolled up 'discharge' that shows a decided taper at the end. Yes, I do hunt too much. And of course, horses, cows, etc, just let it all go. Anyway, the tightness of the fecal matter makes me think it is more in line with a feline of some sort. But they would have blown right past the open door and made groceries, so what do I know?I just tossed this wormy scat over the fence. It was still moist enough to smear up my collection device @ 9:15AM this morning. I never bother to close the run door so it doesn't have to be a climbing predator.
Potential predators are: Raccoon, Coyote, Javalina, Possum, Owl, Jaguarundi, Occelot(rare), rats too but these nodules of poo were approximately nickle to quarter sized. Also there was a thick white urea rich area on one of the nodules. Where this scat was found there is no overhead cover for a roosting bird as well.
Ft Squawks was not compromised at all, its why I never shut my run door. Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

I seem to recall he is pretty fond of those banana palms he planted last weekend..... they should pop right out without any fuss!
Is the Vegan safe though?@Nardo no such thing as hunting too much. Well, maybe to the spouse. Great analysis.
Coop door closed. Run door open. Chickens safe. AllenK locked in the house with the dogs, so everyone is safe. Mostly.
Thank you for the feline vote. Do wild cats bury scat like their domesticated relatives?
FWIW I think the first one is raccoon based on the composition and size. I've had some that look like that.
I thought we were talking about ANIMAL scat?
Is the Vegan safe though?
She must stay safe.
