Need help identifying scat found in run from last night

So just to add to the confusion. And all joking aside: My experience is that the more 'cautious' types pinch off the turds; this includes most felines. They're too nervous to just let it come out, so it comes out in little bunched up balls or more like a tootsie roll with grooves. Whereas the calmer types, opposums, dogs, etc. have longer more rolled up 'discharge' that shows a decided taper at the end. Yes, I do hunt too much. And of course, horses, cows, etc, just let it all go. Anyway, the tightness of the fecal matter makes me think it is more in line with a feline of some sort. But they would have blown right past the open door and made groceries, so what do I know?
Yes the run door was where the scat was locate within 3 meters of it. Really surprised I didn't step in it on my first pass through to open the door for the chicken. I was actually early to my chickens shock! I think I opened the coop at 0635 for a 0650 sunrise, usually I am late and open it at 0700 for them then they bit#h at me all day about my tardiness. Thankfully they were quiet today and it is amazing how quiet they were.

Dunno what to do with the coon when I trap it. Letting it out of a foot hold trap kindly for the vegan ain't gunna happen. I am assuming I will beat it to death with a shovel. No need to wake up the neighbors by shooting it.
I didn't know what t do with a skunk when I trapped it in a havahart trap, was eating/killing broody chicks. Had the idea of, when I set it of just picking it up and drowning it in my pond ( by the way I knew it was a skunk cause I set out a trail cam, you would know what you have wandering about if you had a trail cam keeping a eye out)
Ohh boy, now what to do, do not pop one between the eyes, will spray, instinctive last resort, couldn't pick it up and drown it like I thought, bad idea. Took advice gave to me and popped it in the guts, won't spray he said, worked, smelled a little but not full force.

I'm so glad we don't have skunks down here. At least we don't have skunks until I set out a trap and catch one.

Watch out for them Wampus cats, my grandpa told me about them when I was a kid, their preferred food is usually Side Hill Gougers, they are more common in mountainous areas so you might not have them there in Texas. They have lived so many yrs on the mountains that they have adapted and have short legs on one side, from running around the mountain, thrifty little suckers. They can only run one way though, those wampus cats know it and when they drive the sidehill gougers the other way, easy prey, poor things just fall right over.

I would have never believed a skunk was responsible if I didn't catch it on the trail cam. I know they are omnivorous but I wouldn't have thought it was a predator.
Funny thing was, some people think man killer roosters are good, for predator protection, there was one of them in one of the coops that had a chick loss, apparently mean roosters are not willing to protect in the dark.
