need help identifying this plant/flower.

Sorry if its an easy one. It has a very bold beautiful smell and it is very dramatic when all the petals fall off in a short period of time. The Lilacs have turned brown. This flower blooms and when it is gone, the Daylillies will be coming on. They have little buds all over them now.

It's a peony flower. Ants all over them? The ant's saliva actually encourages the buds to bloom! Awesomely weird connectivity!

I didn't notice ants but ill keep my eyes peeled. It just finished raining here, ill look again when it dries up. I don't tend this particular plant at all. Its on the back corner of the house and easy to mow up close to with the rider. Every now and then I sneak around there with some shears and snip some grass or a weed at the base. Thanks for the reply, sure do appreciate it

I've noticed that ants really love my okra plants when they are in flower. And I haven't noticed any bees in them. Any similarity?
