    Hi everyone,

I just joined and I am new to chickens. [IMG]

We have Rhode Island Reds that we bought from a hatchery. I ordered a straight run of females and in the order we received a mystery chick. I have an Idea that it is an Ameraucana chicken or an Arucana chicken.

Would you please tell me what breed this is exactly and Can you tell if it is a Hen or Rooster?[IMG] I hope these pictures are good enough if not I can retake them. Thank you So much for the help.[IMG]

Looks like an Easter Egger roo to me.

It's an EE, but hard to tell the sex by the pics. As far as I can see the tail, I'd say it's a pullet

From the saddle feathers is looks like a roo, but they are still kinda hard for me to see exactly.

100% EE rooster. Normally in EEs the roos will be mulit colored like the one you have pictured. I bet he will be very handsome when he grows up with a multitude of colors in his feathers.
