Thanks! I was thinking maybe Splash Cochin Bantams and Standard?

But was wondering, is it weird for birds to develop so differently?
The top group look like the bottom group did two weeks ago...
But they are all from the June 3rd hatch at Meyer Hatchery
Any idea?

Yes, with the combs alone, I'd say roos. :)

Mottled Cochins
x2 and boys with those combs already

LeviS, Thanks!
All of them? Do you know if there are there Standard and Bantam sized Mottled Cochin?
I haven't found Standard sized except as maybe a "breeding error" for Blue Cochins.
There's a big disparity in size and feathering between the two groups which seems odd.

I think they are bantam. They look exactly like my two that I got in a hatchery asst from Meyer, but interesting thing is that mine both had big combs like that and turned out to pullets :)

Thanks LeviS, that's a huge help. Fingers crossed that there are a good number of hens in the lot. Figuring out what breeds I received has been akin to a quest for the Holy Grail. What else did you get in the assortment? Do you remember which assortment you ordered?
