Sapphire Gem or Sapphire Olive Egger Chicks

Your girls are so pretty! How old are they?
I agree that your Dove looks just like my Elsa and I think she's my Sapphire Gems. But I wonder if your Violeta is a Sapphire egger, only because it looks like she has a poof or mohawk on top of her head? Our Olaf definitely does, and the poof, or also face muffs are a sign of olive eggers or easter eggers. I dont remember which breed in the mix gives it those features but its one of my favorite things about Olaf, she looks so cute with her little mohawk. I'll try to get a picture tonight.

Hmm I'll have to take a closer look today - if the rain holds off!
They are 12 weeks - but we've had people tell us they look closer to 15!

Olaf is still a quizzical sweetie. Here's her silly poof with her sister Elsa (lighter color, Sapphire Gem) and in the second picture, that's Dot (I believe my other Olive egger, but no poof or muffs)

All my SG girls have ear poofs, but the feathers on their faces are starting to fill in so... still a mystery

Also, they all get poofy around the head when they ruffle or stretch, but none have permanent poofs.

Perhaps it's time to call in the experts...
