need help losing chicks during lockdown

Hello, I have one chick that had hatched out of 7 eggs, and I am still keeping them on lockdown for a few more days. However, I am pretty sure that the rest have died.

and I don't know why, they were all alive and moving just before lock down. I had one pip and it quit on me.

what is going on?
any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I am no expert, far far from it, but I just found this great article about why pipped eggs don't hatch. Maybe it will give you some clues. I am so sorry about your poor babies. I got attached to mine the day I saw veins in them.

the same thing just happened to me!! you are not alone. we had 1 chick make it out of 8? to new at all of this to explain why? sorry. i think we might have opened the bator to many times during lockdown to add water.

I put a hole in side of my incubator then I fed a piece of fish tank air line tubing into the water tank and out through the hole. I attached a syringe to the end of the tubing and could add water without opening the incubator.
