ok my momma mallard went to setting her cluch about 4 days ago,and yesterday morning found that someting had killed her and eatting alot of her egg,I was able to save 8 eggs and rushed them into the incubator, can someone help me figure out about how long I should let them turn before they go into the hatcher to give them a chance at making itso I think see only set for 2 days before being killed and they have now been in the incubator for a fulll day, when do you think they will be ready to stop trunning ,I've hatched muscovy but never mallards thanks for the help

You will probably only be able to tell by candling them when it gets close to the time you think they should go into the hatcher. You can tell when they've pipped into the air cell, and then move them over to the hatcher. So maybe candle them every other day? Or just quick check one each morning? So sorry for the momma...
