need help naming my bunny!

my mom wants to breed him ( just once) and then get him fixed, is that a good idea or not?
he is 10 weeks old now how old do they have to be to breed?

I think they reach sexual maturity at about 6 months old. You should really do your research before you decide to breed him. Besides the fact that there are already so many bunnies in the world. there's the issue of colors (among many other things). Some colors are more desirable than others, so you would have to make sure you bred him to the correct colored female to produce desirable colored kits. Of course you need to make sure both rabbits are in very good health, a good weight, and such. It's a lot of work that goes into breeding, even for only one litter. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting yourself into before you breed any animal. And also, you would get him neutered. Spaying is what getting girls fixed is called.
 
Yes I would just say get the little chap neutered and forget the babies, as already said... Enough bunnies needing homes already. Just out of interest why does your mum want him to be a daddy?
