My family is new to raising chickens. We purchased 2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Easter Eggers that are now 9 weeks from a local breeder and they were from a straight run so I am trying to sex them. We couldn't wait for eggs so we also bought two pullets that are now 19 weeks and were told they were yellow buff orpingtons but really unsure. One started crowing the other morning and now J am suspecting it to be a roo but really unsure. Please help!

I'm sorry to say but after the crowing and seeing the pics, you definitely have a rooster on your hands.
 
Ok:( I was thinking so but was hoping not cause the feathers don't show roo but that head sure does. Plus he doesn't have that claw on the leg I have been told about. Bummer :(

The breeder was nice enough to exchange the rooster and now we are going home with two pullets instead of one :)
