How many drakes can you safely have with your ducks??? I know I have way to many drakes, but, I love them all. I have 3 WH, A Black Cayuga, a Rouen and and a Khaki Campbell. WOW, a lot of drakes, I know. I have the khaki with my 6 girls. The other boys are separate and getting VERY restless.. I just got 2 Black Cayuga ducks yesterday and I plan on putting them with my BC drake. Will 2 ducks be okay with the one drake. How many of my boys am I going to have to get rid of. I have a couple of WH ducks I am getting next weekend, they are grown. I have raised my boys from tiny babies. This is going to be so hard, but I want them to all be happy. Oh and I have two more little stinkers 3 weeks old, no idea the sex, at the first sign they are drakes, they are going before I get any more attached. Please help me make this very hard decision.

2 duck and 1 drake is fine as long as their is only 1 drake to every 6 ducks in the same encloser they will be fine, otherwise they might kill the females, i have 2 females and 1 male and they are fine and i eveen have a duck sitting, so i might have the same problem as you.

Thanks, I have separated the Wh this morning. I am going to have to find good homes for 3 of my drakes anyway! Boy, this is hard to do.
