Leghorns, especially white Leghorn hens, have very large combs, even as pullets and chicks. I had a WL pullet who's comb was even bigger than that at 4 weeks! I'm going to guess that Vanessa is a pullet, but correct me if I'm wrong. She's a pretty little girl!! Good luck with your birds!
Thanks that's what I was thinking also I know time will only tell for sureActually, I'm second-guessing myself. Is the comb very red/pink, or is it a dull yellow orange? A brightly colored comb on a young bird typically indicates a rooster.
