I'm soooo excited!! So I posted an add on our local classifieds website for a couple of chicks that I'm wanting too sell. I bought some assorted bantams and 2 of them are not the breed I thought and I also put in the add that I would be hatching some bantams in 3 weeks to sell. I put the add up yesterday and I've already gotten 10 calls.!!!?!!?? I've even had a couple people ask if I would hatch out specific breeds for them. This was completely unexpected......I'm a newbie! But I have had my chickens for a little over a year and we have plenty of space to have as many chickens as we want so my amazing husband offered to build me a new barn (we have all kinds of animals) and let me buy a bigger incubator. So I need advice here. I really like the upright cabinet style incubators and I've seen a couple on e-bay but I want to know what all of you experts think. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money but maybe like $200-$250. Thanks so much!!

You're happy with it so far? I was going to call this afternoon to order one. Did you get a humidity tray or the auto humidity system?

Yup, love it. Holds the temp nicely. I just got the humidity tray. I tend to keep my humidity very low during incubation, and only mist. For some reason if I keep the humidity up where the incubators say to keep it (around 50% or so) the eggs never lose enough moisture. The pan works just fine for me.

Love the acrylic door also.

Thanks everyone! I know I'm not gonna get anything fabulous for What I can spend but I think I found a pretty nice one, new for $250 plus shipping. I found a guy that makes them on here and has good feedback.
