Hello,
Please give me some advice on worming my sheep and lambs. These sweeties are from a rescue, and therefore I cannot at this point give ORAL OR INJECTABLE dewormer. The oral wormer could be in a form of feed, or possibly powder over their feed. However, I cannot give them injections and/or oral suspension. They are WILD. They are scared to death of people. However, I was told while adopting them, that they needed to be dewormed. I have three of them with diarrhea, probably from parasites.
Everywhere that I've read says that pour on does not work on sheep, and that oral suspension is the way to go. What if there is no way I can do that right now?? Can I give goat pelleted wormer? Can I find a pour on that will work on sheep? Is there a powder or some other sheep dewormer that anyone knows about that is NOT injection or something that I have to physically put in their mouth.
Please help!
Thanks so much

If you can get close enough to apply a pour on, you can get close enough to jab with a needle. Enlist a helper or two, and it will get done.

Pelleted dewormer will not work. That is mostly for maintenance of animals who already have a low parasite load. In addition, unless you separate and supervise the consumption of each animal (which doesn't sound like it will happen) you have no idea how much sheep A, B, or C ate. One might snarf it all, the others may get none.

Pour on OK on cattle, not as well as oral or injectable. It is basically useless for internal parasites in sheep and goats, but works against external.
