Juvenile molt then...Really @chickens really they told me Ben and Rey was both 6 months old but they are all still losing feathers
But he’s already in his Nuptial plumage?Juvenile molt then...
Well then what else could it be?But he’s already in his Nuptial plumage?![]()
@DucksForever can you post an updated picture of your drake?Well then what else could it be?![]()
Exactly they are crossed Ducks with a colour and in Ancona no such thing as a tri coloured . Just a fancy name for his colour in a mixed breed Duck...Let’s get some things straightened out, shall we?
These are what Silver Appleyard and Saxony hens look like, they definitely do not look the first ducks you posted, so we can clearly rule those out. As @chickens really stated, the 2 ducks in the original post are Muscovy crosses. You can tell my the odd looking bill shape and mouth.
Now as for these 2 ducks:View attachment 1816393
Your drake is a Tri-Colored Ancona (see picture in spoiler for reference).
Your hen could either be an overly marked Ancona, a Swedish, or just a cross breed.
They very well can be 6 months and just molting.Really @chickens really that's very Interesting so if they are going into Juvenile molt how old are they then? I am sorry for everything I am Very New to Ducks they are my 1st ones
