This one looks really different from the others....the rooster I believe was a barred rock, all the hens they have are ...amarucana (spell?), silver lace Wyandotte, barred rock, blk sex link, buff orpington These are the only ones I believe

She has another rooster (buff orpington) but they are pretty sure that it was the barred rock.

I just want to hear what you all think...thank you!!

It may be hard to pinpoint, but I'm thinking one parent is barred, and one parent is an Orpington.

If the barred Rock rooster is the father, all his chicks will be barred, regardless of the mother and/or sex of the chick. If he mated with a barred Rock hen, the chick would be pure bred, and this chick is not. If he mated with the slw or bsl, the chick probably wouldn't have that much gold in the face. Ameraucana/EE could be in play there, but the black usually over rides the EE colors. Buff is one of the few colors able to stand up to black genetically. The gold around the face makes me thing it's the Orp.

If the Orpington is the father, the barred Rock is the mother and the chick is a male sex link.

Pic of the comb and color of the legs could help confirm who the parents are, by ruling out some breeds.

I'd love to see pics once it feathers out, around 8 weeks, to see how it looks then!
