I have a hen she's about 6 months old now so I guess a pullet yet ...she's been missing her tail feathers awhile now and I posted before ...although it's now gotten much worse and I'm afraid I'm going to lose her ... I put some Vetericyn plus on her skin and tried wrapping her but she won't walk at all with wrap on so removed ...I have her in the run in a Kennel for now because the others are pecking at her ....please can anyone tell us what's wrong and how do we help her...thank you View attachment 3295596

I would separate her inside a wire dog crate with food and water. It looks like she is being pecked by the other chickens. It can progress to vent pecking and cannibalism. Is she low in the pecking order? Do you have a rooster? How many chickens do you have, what are the breeds, and how much room do they have? Are they getting outside to roam around? What are you feeding them?

We have five hens no rooster at all....I've worried their coop at night is to small but my son assures me it's not the problem. I move them every morning to their run which is 14 × 20 feet ....they are only in coop at night for protection. My son has them on chicken feed like a pellet but i take them apples or blueberries daily and oatmeal or cooked brown rice ...I try to take them something twice a day and I mix in meal worms for them... I've not seen any bullying in fact she's the one I see kinda get aggressive with the others when it's snack time ....I've bought a second coop hoping my son would build to seperate and give them more room at night ....could it be the coop is to small and she is the one getting picked on? I have her in a dog crate right now in the big run so she's with them and I've ordered her a saddle hoping it covers it... I'm trying My best to just get her well its painful to watch any advice is welcome as I'm learning

I meant to show you the coop as I'm concerned it's to small
