I have an extra Indo-Chinese Imperator '09 hatch peacock that I plan on selling. Purchased from a very reputable breeder near me (I don't think I can use his name on here) Any ideas what these are currently going for? Thanks for any replies. I know I need a better picture to show his color.

Well, I have a Trio for sale a pair of two yr olds and one 3 yr old hen for $700.00, so a 09 hatch $125.00 to $200.00 depends on how bad you want to sell him. Indo's are cheaper then the Java or Burmese.

Did this bird come from Weatherford, TX?? if he did I know the blood lines and are good ones so I would start high and work my way down.

Yes they did Steve. I purchased 6 of them last summer. Great looking stock and some of the best blood lines around from what I was told

I lucked out, I ended up with 2 peacocks and 4 peahens.

Would be best to keep it ,till they are three yr old. Just in case something happen to one before they are breeding age. Plus you can always sell him then for more money. Not to give you bad luck, but anything could happen in two more years...

Nice bird also........

Yeah, with all my birds I take the proactive approach keep extra males. I don't know how many times I have been called and told my rooster died do you have one I can buy? I do go overboard sometimes tho I have 3 speckled sussex roosters and quite recently no hens >.< And can't find hens or eggs anywhere to save my butt.

Geezzz Talk about competition. I decided to hold on to mine. I wonder if those birds came from the same place mine did.
