Hello all!

I'm currently in Utah, and haven't had much time to read through all the posts here, so I apologize in advance if this has already been asked.

Does anyone have the name / number / website of someone in northern Utah that does chicken processing? I need to process my chickens before my fiancee gets back in town on Monday, and do not wish to do it myself. She understands that they're past laying age and it's time to eat them, but she's such an animal lover that she doesn't want to be around when they "disappear".

Anyhow, any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

You might try posting on your state thread

https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=24

Try calling your county extension agent, in the phone book under county government.

Try asking at the feed store. They just might know someone who can help.

Try asking your local health department or whoever would license and inspect that type of operation in Utah.

Good luck!
