I have the ringnecks, one in which I know for sure is a male, and two others I originally thought were males due to bumps on the back legs, and a slight bit of red whatever you call ems showing up around the eyes, but there red is nowhere near as much as on the male, and the one I know is a male has more profound spurs and Im having second thoughts now. What do you think about the other two? two of the pics are of the same one, , one of the other, and one of them is the male. I might add that they are about 9 weeks old or so now.

One cockbird - middle right - take it to the bank.

All pheasants have spur buds - both hens and cockbirds. In ringnecks hens will have a slight reddening of the face - just not to the degree of the males.

The top two pictures are of the same bird. and the bottom 2 are 2 different birds. Only 3 birds total. Thanks for the quick responses. At what age could I expect the roo to have all his coloring in?
