I ordered chicks from Ideal Hatchery, I ordered Brown Egg Layers and 2 Easter Eggers. Out of these 4 chicks, only 1 partridge and the one with blue had muffs as little chicks, so I assumed they were my 2 Easter Eggers. The other partridge and the black chick we ended up keeping along with the 2 assumed Easter Eggers, the black chick has since grew a beard and muffs, so I am assuming that all 4 are Easter Eggers. I only mention this incase I am wrong on their breed, but I'm pretty confident that they are all easter eggers, but if you think they aren't please let me know.

I'm just wanting opinions on their sex, because the one with blue, her comb is a bit more red then the others, so just wanting a 2nd opinion. They are 8.5 weeks old, will be 9 weeks on Monday, hatch date 5/20/2024.

I know they aren't the best pictures, but it's the best I was able to get.

1 has female specific coloring so definitely a female. The others I'm leaning pullet as well. Once they start laying you'll know for sure who's an easter egger and who isn't :D
All are Easter egger pullets.
All are pullets
Nothing on any of these birds says male to me
Thank y'all. The only reason I was questioning if they may be cockerels is because #2s comb was looking a bit more red, so just wanted some opinions because I wasn't feeling 100% sure if they were pullets or not.

The black one is really pretty BTW
Thank you, I think she is too. She has some red lacing (I think is the right term) on her chest, and in the sun her black feathers have a blue tint. We wasn't even going to keep her, I honestly thought she may have been a black star, but at the last minute I decided to keep her. I just wonder now if the other solid black chick is also an easter egger (I had ordered and raised some chicks for someone and ordered myself 2 easter eggers, and apparently now I have 4). The black chick only recently developed her beard and muffs, that's how I figured out she wasn't a black star like I originally assumed. Her as well as #4 didn't have any muffs or anything as small chicks, only kept #4 because my daughter fell in love with her and I was curious what breed she was.

Thank you all again. I'm just glad to know forsure.
