need help sexing my peaflow

i need opinions on what he may be. i was told purple ehen i got him, but now i see can has blue on his head and green on his shoulders. im aboit to place a order for mor and would like to know what i have.

It is really hard to judge health thru a photograph, but it seems as though his wings are hanging a little low to the ground. Wings should be held up tight to the body, if they are hanging down it can mean they are very hot or are sick. You are there watch him a little and see if the wings remain down, if they do I would change the corid from preventative dose to treatment dose. I really cannot tell for certain what color he is, he is just too young to say for sure.

Perhaps it would be best not to order more peachicks until you figure out if this guy is sick...you've already lost a lot of peas.

the peachicks im buying will be the same age as this one, i wont get them till Thursday of next week. by then i should know sonething about my little man. if not i will put them in a different pin. they only have white ones left so i guess it doesnt matter what color he is.

im sorry to say he passed away this morning.. i guess i didnt help him in time. but at least I have all the proper medication to prevent this from happening again.

You might consider getting a necropsy done on him so you know what you are dealing with and how to avoid it with your new pea.

And, not to sound like a broken record, but IMO it is probably best to not keep getting more peas since you don't yet know what killed your three babies...
