Need help to put my chicken down

I need to put my Chicken down because I don't want to kill her, make her suffer and I don't want to take her to the vet, so is there anything that I could give her instead.

Do you have a friend who would cut her head off for you?? It sounds mean, but that really is a super quick way where the bird doesn't suffer. I've read of other ways, but don't know enough to advice you. I know others will offer solutions...
And I'm sorry you have to put one down

I'm so sorry for your trouble. Cervical dislocation (pulling the head quickly away from the body to break the neck) or beheading really are the quickest, most painless ways to put down a chicken. Painless for the chicken, anyway.

What worked easiest for me was a good, high power pellet rifle shot right behind the comb. Believe me, I know how agonizing this is.

Your best bet is probably putting a knife through the vent in the roof of the mouth (hang her upside down). Speaking from personal experience, I strangled a chicken and I cried for hours over it; poor thing had broken her leg, I didn't have anything sharp enough to cut her throat (we live too close to neighbors to risk stray bullets) so I did what was advised in my Storey's guide to raising chickens. Place her on the ground with a broomstick over her neck and pull her legs quickly while standing on said broomstick to break her neck. I ended up strangling her because I didn't have the heart to pull her legs due to one of them being broken. I'll never forget watching her die and crying and telling her it was for her own good and that I loved her.
The next day i bought a butchering set.
