Need help understanding what this might be

i have two flocks and two Roos. One flock seems to have this balding going on just above their backs.

I know it’s not molting but could this be pecking damage? Roo damage?

My second flock has no signs of this problem

They all share a run but different coops

Ideas?

They might be getting picked or a it could be from a roo. It could also be mites/parasites, do they act differently?

That’s from the rooster, how many hens do you have per rooster?

I think one of your roosters is being too rough.

7 per. I know it’s low but lost a few to predators
