I have a 8/9 week old rooster is he old enough to to move to the coop? And it's the middle of summer and it gets extremely hot. Any ideas on how to keep my chickens cooled down? And it it alright for the chickens to be exposed to 90+ degrees. It seems way to hot for them and being new to the whole raising chickens I need help!

I would normally put my roos in with the main flock once they're six months of age.. Otherwise the older chickens are going to pic on him... And for your heat problem i would make sure they have plenty of shad and plenty of ventilation in the coop. And maybe add a fan as well.

The roo is old enough to move to the coop, whether there are already older residents there is a different story, you may need to do the introduction thing. I keep my chickens water cool with ice cubes. I also make sure they have access to plenty of shade. On very hot days, I freeze water or 2 liter soda bottles and lay them around so they can get next to them if they want to. You can also freeze watermelon or other treats for them to peck at. YOu can also add electrolytes to their water if you want to. I would not give scratch grains or cracked corn in the heat.
