You’re right! Thank you.Other than with Sexlinks or Autosexing breeds, sexing chicks is not 100% accurate. Even when buying sexed pullets there is a chance you can get cockerels.
I wish I could remember what other breeds they had that day. I do remember they didn’t have any leghorns though as my neighbor has leghorns and we didn’t want to get any of the breed.Out of the breeds you listed, I'd guess the orangey one is some sort of bantam mix (a few people mentioned frizzle silkie- I've never had silkies, so I can't weigh in, but that could well be it.)
The white bird would have to either be some sort of ameracauna or a gold sex link rooster, which is my guess just based off the prominent comb, light down, and white feathers (although I can't imagine why your feed store would sell sex-link roosters?) However, as neither of these seem particularly likely, it's probably a mislabeled leghorn or some sort of white bird- leghorn, at least where I'm at, would be the most likely.
I'm interested to see how they mature. Best of luck finding out their breeds- I'd love to hear some more other opinions.
Sorry everyone one more! They didn’t even tell me what breed this is.
Wow thank you!!! I would have never figured that one out! This one is a Millie Fleur d'Uccle bantam.
