Need help with a decision

The chicken farmer I bought the eggs from said that he has had issues in the past with light brahmas with slipped hocks and that he would cull because it would never be normal. He said the issue was caused mainly by the wire bottom of his brooders, but I don't use wire on the bottom, I use shavings in a wooden brooder, so who knows what happened. At any rate, this particular baby is now 2.5 weeks and is eating, drinking, pooping, and acting like a normal baby, just with a small adjustment on how it gets around. As of right now I have decided not to cull. Again, I appreciate all the help, so thank you.

You're welcome. I'm glad you are trying to give the chick a chance. I think a lot of leg problems are due to either heredity, or vitamin/mineral deficiencies in the parent stock. Good luck with your chick.
