Did you ever figure out what was causing this or how to get the bleeding to stop? I am having this exact same issue with one of my girls right now and it looks just like that. The other hens are definitely over interested in the area that is bleeding and appear to be pecking at it here and thereView attachment 1763298Just noticed this baby covered in blood a little earlier. I brought her inside cleanrd her and separated her from the rest of the babies. Now she's bleeding again. What should I put on her to stop the bleeding?
Do you have any photos?Did you ever figure out what was causing this or how to get the bleeding to stop? I am having this exact same issue with one of my girls right now and it looks just like that. So sorry juat now saw this. I did actually figure out what it was, some of the other girls were plucking her tail feathers and then the other girls would mess with her until they caused severe bleeding. Im assuming because she was different from the rest. Anyway all i did was clean it with hydrogen peroxide and kept a close eye on her. And it eventually stopped bleeding. But i did continually kept cleaning it to prevent any infections... Hope by now your baby is doing better.Did you ever figure out what was causing this or how to get the bleeding to stop? Yes. I kept her seperate from the rest for a couple of weeks and then slowly started letting them all out together but still kept her seperate from the rest for a little while longer at night. Eventually they just stopped messing with her, unless they're all in the pin for too long together then they tend to go and start messing with her again.Did they eventually stop picking on her?
