Just noticed this baby covered in blood a little earlier. I brought her inside cleanrd her and separated her from the rest of the babies. Now she's bleeding again. What should I put on her to stop the bleeding?

Some people use cornstarch if they don't have a styptic powder. It may need pressure with a clean towel if it doesn't hold.

Check for a blood feather bleeding, and if you find one, pull it out to stop bleeding. Corn starch, flour, and styptic or blood stop poder all work to stop bleeding. Pressure held onto the wound with a dry cloth may stop it in a few minutes.

Can you give some details of your chicks ages, if they are with older chickers or a rooster? Overcrowding, too much heat, mixed ages together , too little protein are some causes of pecking.

Did you ever figure out what was causing this or how to get the bleeding to stop? I am having this exact same issue with one of my girls right now and it looks just like that. The other hens are definitely over interested in the area that is bleeding and appear to be pecking at it here and there :( but they are not attacking or going after her in any other way....

Do you have any photos?
As suggested in post #3 look for a blood feather that is bleeding and pluck it out. A blood feather will continue to drip blood.
You definitely want to get her cleaned up, even though the others are just pecking here and there, it could turn bad quickly.

So sorry juat now saw this. I did actually figure out what it was, some of the other girls were plucking her tail feathers and then the other girls would mess with her until they caused severe bleeding. Im assuming because she was different from the rest. Anyway all i did was clean it with hydrogen peroxide and kept a close eye on her. And it eventually stopped bleeding. But i did continually kept cleaning it to prevent any infections... Hope by now your baby is doing better.

Did they eventually stop picking on her?

Did they eventually stop picking on her?
Yes. I kept her seperate from the rest for a couple of weeks and then slowly started letting them all out together but still kept her seperate from the rest for a little while longer at night. Eventually they just stopped messing with her, unless they're all in the pin for too long together then they tend to go and start messing with her again.
