Need help with baby chick!

We had a broody hen in with the rest of the flock and didn't think she had any eggs under her. Well she had 2 eggs and when the first one hatched the mother hen kicked it out and the other flock members attacked it. The other egg hatched but the mother killed it before I could get to it. The one that survived has a problem with its legs. It holds it's legs really far to the front and out to the side and can not move to get to its food or water. Is this fixable? How do I fix?

Can you post a few pictures of the chick and how it's legs look.
I'm thinking it might be splay leg.

I did a little research and I do believe it is the splay leg. We made a brace thing to fix it. Thank you. How long should the chick have the brace?

I am not sure, you may want to just check it daily.
