Anyone know what breed of chicken this young one might be? I appreciate any help y'all may have helping us to ID this young chicken. My daughter saw it around our yard and realized some "neighborhood cats" were chasing it, so we rescued the poor thing from the cats and placed it in our already existing coop. We were planning on raising chickens eventually so luckily we already had the coop, saving this young one just sped up our timeline. We would like to know the breed if possible, doesn't really matter to us what breed or sex of the fowl, we are just glad to have saved it from those dang cats. It's happy and safe now and that's all that really matters to us at this time. Any help with ID would be appreciated as we are just curious as to what it actually is. Thanks
