My old english game hen had been hiding eggs outside. Last night couldn't find her. When I found her this morning she was on a clutch of 10. I have tried putting her in a cage with the eggs in the hen house. She keeps running outside to sit where she was if I leave it open, and if I lock her in she just runs back and forth. Although it was a good hiding spot from me, I am sure she will not survive other other animals outside for 21 days. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Debby

Try to move her at night when it is dark. Then put a towel or something over the cage to keep it dark for a day or two. In the evenings you can let her off to eat and drink and then put her right back on the nest. Hopefully that will do it.
