I have 8 cochins 2 sussex and 2 polish cresteds that are 24 wks old today. None of them have laid eggs yet but one thing that i have noticed is that they seem to sneeze quite a bit. Their eyes are not watery and sometimes it seems that they have a clear liquid like snot or water coming out when they sneeze but most of the time it is a dry sneeze. so do ya'll think there is something wrong or is it just allergies or dust. other than that they are pretty active and eat a lot and drink about the same. that is why i think it is just from the dust or something but idk. also could they be sticking their beaks to far down into the water while they are drinking and could that be the cause for the snot or water. just thought i should add that. thanks for any suggestions. Shane

snotty sneezing is illness. dry sneezing usually occurs from eating to fast, dust, water etc. to clear the nasal passage. it is normal. look for other signs of illness, if they appear, then treat or cull.

frustrating. sorry for your troubles. we all sneeze though, hang in there!

no most of their poo is normal only occassionly it is runny but i think it is from drinking so much water. also they are very active when i let them out they like to run around and dust bathe.
