Need help with coop plans

Does anyone have access to free chicken coop plans? I have been searching and cannot find anything that will work. I am looking for 8 x 8 to house 10 chickens. I started to create my own plans, but it did not turn out well. I have access to lumber, I just need a plan. Please help.

Depending on your location and number of birds, ChopperLinc just put up a fantastic little all weather coop plan in this section. If you're in a hotter area, you can simply not insulate and not make the removable solid panels, instead just go with hardware cloth. Not saying you have to follow it board for board but it's a wonderful start point and it looks like a easy build.

My coop is going to be 6 x 8, but you could adjust it easy enough. I have had chickens for 10 years now and have had 4 different coops. I am about to build my dream coop and so I have put a lot of thought into this. HTH.

I used the Purina coop plan

It's so basic you could certainly adapt it for a larger coop. Good luck!

You can borrow from the library. I did check out once and there are about 40 plans, which give you more choice to decide.

That's a great coop and run. I have a question about the run. Did you put anything in the ground to anchor it or does it just sit on the baseboard frame? I think I can adopt this for my large run plans as well. Thanks for the idea!
