Need help with daughter's 4-h enrty form! please!!

We have a cuckoo maran and a buff orpington . are these american breeds? i need to know so i can put them in the correct section. thank you.

Marans are not technically accepted by either the APA or the ABA at this point. I would put them under Continental-French anyway.
Orpingtons are Continental-English.

Yep! As long as it basically looks like a chicken, they let you show it in 4-H

Same for my Spitzhaubens, the 4H would classify them as Continental class. Something different to see! I love looking at rare breeds!

The orps are English and he Marans are Continental.

Marans are not recognized, so they're not in a specific class.
