Awesome.
What does he say about the gapeworm issue?
The avian vet is two hours away so I haven’t spoken with him. I only go there for surgeries. The local vet suggested I try ivermectin orally even though I specifically said I needed something safe. He’s really not up to date on effectiveness of wormers bc he recommended safeguard for our goats and the worms were resistant to it too. I feel like if I could prevent this worm it would make my life easier. I’ve even tried cayenne pepper and it didn’t help. Would vermx help prevent gapes maybe?
