Need to give a Penicillin shot and on the bottle it says that it is supposed to be room temperature. Is that imperative? I've had it in the fridge because I was told that you have to keep it in the fridge, now it's cold, and I need to go ahead and give the shot really soon. I have it beside a heat lamp that's on my baby chicks, trying to warm it up a bit. Can it be cool or does it absolutely have to be room temperature? This is my first time doing this and I'm very scared and worried that I'm going to do something wrong. I'm giving it on a goose (gander really). Going to give it in the chest muscle above his leg, I hope it's the right spot. So worried! Can you hep anyone?
