I have never seen heart shaped ear lobe. he really is special.

Ikr? I have 2 unrelated phoenix hens who I'm also planning on crossing him with, plus a 3rd phoenix hen I'm hopefully getting this weekend. It'll be really interesting to see if the heart shaped earlobe starts showing up more and more as I line breed back to him

These are some of my favorite babies from Saffron so far! They almost all have crests too!

All 12 seem like pullets to me, which is both a blessing and a curse

I shall be making a thread showcasing my F2 Saffron babies name of Bingus, Binky, Wobble Gobble, Dingus, Girl Boy, Yes Not, LowKey, and Fred... It'll be a thread dedicated to the future development of the Crocus-Fowl Landrace and will be where I show the photos of these young birds with their very normal names that I totally didn't let 3 graders name
