I got an assorted mix at TSC, and the one's I'm unsure of were all black but are now starting to shift as they're getting older (about 2 weeks now). Anybody know the breed of these ducklings? I thought Cayugas when I first got them but now I'm not sure. 1st photo is what they looked like when I got them. Second photo is what they look like now.

Dark Campbells! :)
Have you had dark campbells before? Most of mine are developing a hint of green coloring on their heads and a bit on their tails. Only some have a slight voice change but no obvious quacks yet. They're about to be 7 weeks old. Do you know by chance what their gender could be just from those details?

I haven’t had them personally, but I could still sex them. I can’t say definitively from what you describe, but if you could get photo / video of them, that would help a lot. You can upload video to somewhere like YouTube and link it here.

I also know with Campbells, males tend to have much darker, solid colored tails than the females.

I'll get a video and share with you soon. I looked at the one clear female out of them and she is developing blue feathers on the sides like a Rouen. I'm now wondering if they're a Campbell x Rouen cross now.

Is it blue or grey? I don’t believe TSC sells crossed ducklings.
A Campbell x Rouen cross would look almost entirely Rouen-like.

Ok, the first two photos are of the female that has the blue feathers peeping through. The last photo is to show you the female(right) and the unknown sex (left with the green colors showing on its head) to see if you maybe know what breed and/or what gender they could be. I’m going to send you audio of the others’ after this post.
