Our hen was attacked by a bobcat 9 days ago while free ranging in our backyard. Other than missing a lot of feathers, there were no obvious signs of trauma. She has not laid an egg in 9 days (before the attack). She was timid at first, but would come out of the coop after the first day. She was eating and drinking regularly. Her poop was a darker green color and a little shiny in those first few days.

1) What type of bird , age and weight.
9 month old Light Brahma hen, ~6 pounds

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
She can barely stand after I lift her up and place her on her feet. She is laying down with her feet under her or off to the side a little. She doesn't move her left wing at all. She is still moving her head around and making some soft cooing sounds. Her eyes are clear and appear normal.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
She started limping on Monday (1/4). I thought she may have injured her leg, but she was still walking around pecking at the ground. Tuesday, she was not out pecking around, but was still moving around to get food and water. The movement was even less yesterday, and today I saw almost none.

4) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
She is missing wing, tail, and neck feathers from the attack. She also has a bare spot under her breast where I can feel her bone.

5) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
I don't know why she started limping and stopped walking.

6) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
I don't know how much she has eaten today since she didn't move around. Before I have seen her eat laying pellets and some sunflower seeds. I have seen her drink regularly the past few days, today not much.

7) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
On Tuesday, I noticed bright yellow-green colored poop. It looked foamy without any noticible solids. Last night the color was a mixture of white and green, but had a lot of liquid. This morning there was a darkish pile of poop.

8) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
I have tried to keep her warm and have food and water available. I gave her a bath tonight to clean off the poop from her back feathers.

9 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
I would like to treat her at home if at all possible.

10) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
Here she is laying with her feet off to the side:

11) Describe the housing/bedding in use
She is currently on newspaper in a box in the house. There is food and water available and a heating lamp on her. Prior to being brought inside she was sitting on the ground in the coop/run. I tried to give her shavings to sit on yesterday, but she did not stay on them.

I appreciate any help anyone can offer. This is my first time posting, so I hope I provided enough information. Thank you.

I suspect worms, and malnutrition from the worms. I would worm immediately and feed extra. Don't wait too long.

OOPS, I didn't even read your post! Ignore what I said above.

She may have some puncture wounds that you haven't noticed and possibly become infected. Others will know whether to give her antibiotics or what is best. I'm not very knowledgeable on medications.
