Are your ducks getting big? I don't know how fast they typically grow, but Cody is huge! :)

e I was cleaning their brooder I took this, they are insanely big now. They actually look bigger than Cody there, but I am guessing Cody is a call duck?

No, he is actually a wild mallard from our front lawn whose parents have been living in our lawn for years. His mom had a nest in our rose bush and one morning we found that she'd been attacked and killed by a wild animal. Cody's egg had been rolled out of the nest, either by mom or by the predator, and landed directly on our front stoop, inches from our front door. When I candled the egg, I was shocked to see movement, I thought he'd be dead. Anyway I stuck it in the incubator and 2 weeks later he hatched. :)

Im surprised how much they look like indian runners actually.

My chicks are growing tons of feathers- the ducks are still without any! Buttercup was too feisty to photo!
 
They are darling!! Looks like they are getting big :) I love the feathers! Cody is getting a few along the wings I noticed yesterday. I'm excited!
