Need help with NC chicken laws.

Looking to move to Indian Trail NC 28079. I believe it is in Union county. I have searched and can not find any laws for that area. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Have you called the county's zoning board or animal control?

The zoning regulations are above - below is what I found that specifically addressed poultry, there may be additional information in the zoning that I didn't find quickly.


Chapter 7110. Livestock and Horse Stables
No person may keep livestock or poultry within 150 feet from an adjoining lot line. Nothing in this subsection shall be construed as authorizing poultry or livestock to be kept except where such uses are authorized under the zoning district regulations.
