I brought two 8 month old turkey hens home last week and I dont believe they have eaten anything yet.
They were used to free ranging and were with toms as well and now I have them penned up. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you

Have you tried just tossing scratch/feed on the ground to entice them to eat the food?

yes and salad and today sunflower seeds they dont seem interested in anything

Besides what they were foraging while free ranging, do you know what the previous owner used as regular feed? These guys are extremely wary of anything `new/unknown'.

I will give them a call I believe they mostly free ranged and were eating what was put down for the chickens
I did throw some canned corn down earlier and they gobbled that right up. But I dont think that is very healthy for them is it?
I raised turkeys from babies before and they lived and ate with my hens they never had a problem with eating.

They do have a feeder separate from the other poultry? If so, place some of the canned corn (well drained) on their regular feed in their regular feeder. Slowly decrease the amount of corn over a period of days.
