Need help

My baby chick, it's 2 months old swallowed a earring tonight I am really worried love him a lot.... please help

Without the help of a Vet. hopefully it passes without any trouble. Is he still eating and drinking?

I seen one of our young hens scratching around in the dirt and she ate a small metal screw about a 1/2 inch long and thought the worst also. That was about a year ago and she is still doing ok.

Hopefully it passes without getting stuck and causes any problems. If he quits eating and drinking you will have to make a choice not to let the poor thing suffer.

Welcome to BYC ! Was it gold or cheep brass ? If it was gold it might pass . If it was el cheep, it could have a toxic effect . But I think it may pass .

Welcome to Backyard chickens!
I had a chicken once that pulled the earring out of my ear and ate it. Luckily she was fine and it never affected her or anything.
